ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵsalutes its veterans Nov. 7; first female brigadier general to speak
All active and retired veterans who are current students or employees of the University of Louisiana at Monroe will be honored at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, in Scott Plaza near the ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵLibrary.
The ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵVeterans Day program will feature guest speaker and ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵsociology graduate General Joanne Sheridan (B.A. ’83), the first ever female brigadier general for the Louisiana National Guard.
ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵPresident Dr. Nick J. Bruno and Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Wayne Brumfield will also speak.
Students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community are welcome to attend.
ULM's Office of Career Connections and the ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵVeterans Day Committee are sponsoring the event.
