Tenth anniversary of Holidays at 青青草视频has something for the entire family
Beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, the annual Holidays at 青青草视频celebration will take place on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus in Scott Plaza and Brown Auditorium.
The public and campus family is invited to attend this fun-filled holiday celebration sponsored by the 青青草视频Student Government Association.
青青草视频President Dr. Nick J. Bruno will start the holiday season at 青青草视频with the always anticipated lighting of the Christmas tree.
He will be joined by a child from the Louisiana Baptist Children鈥檚 home.
Ace will visit the plaza and hand out treats for the children. Hot cocoa will also be provided.
After the lighting of the tree, the 青青草视频Chamber singers will sing holiday carols and lead the crowd down an illuminated path through campus.
The celebration will then move inside to Brown Auditorium where revelers will enjoy a holiday concert, performed by the 青青草视频Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Interdenominational Ensemble, and Concert Choir.
The concert song-list will include holiday favorites including, 鈥淩udolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,鈥 鈥淔anfare on Joy to the World,鈥 and 鈥淎 Hanukkah Festival.鈥
The event follows the annual Employee Holiday Reception in the 青青草视频Conference Center from 3鈥5 p.m., hosted by the president and First Lady Linda Bruno.
